Latvia ? ? is this the new base for Canada, now that Germany has gone?

Posted by on Feb 28, 2017 in The Invisible Army | 0 comments

Canada once again answers the call to ARMS. Returning to Europe for the first time since the Cold War was declared over:

Canadian troops to find permanent home in Latvia to deter Russian aggression

I tend to meander sorry about that.
Lets have a prayer and a thought for our Military Families and our new tour of duty in Latvia.

We Stand on Guard for Thee……..Red Friday

Posted by on Feb 23, 2017 in The Invisible Army | 0 comments

52 years this Month 15 Feb 1965 our Maple Leaf Flag known throughout the world.

The words from our National Anthem ring so true for our Military:     O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Whether they are serving in far flung outposts of this world or here at home in our Native Land. Whether it is aid to the civil powers for Search and Rescue, snow removal or any of a myriad of situations that may occur.

The news article on the CBC net is all about   The Big One.

This is the major quake that residents of British Columbia fear. The military of British Columbia has a callout plan in readiness.

On this final Red Friday of February 2017, we must  look  to Veteran’s Voices of Canada for their 2017 Flag Raising honouring our Veterans.          Al Cameron does a wonderful inter-provincial event each October leading up to Remembrance Day. The logistics involved are many. So folks if you wish to honour a family member, a friend, or simply to remember what our military has done for us. Contact Al Cameron soonest   Why not help organise a new group, in a new Province, city, town or Village.

In Fact I would like to raise a challenge to Military Families at bases across Canada to raise the Flags as a project to show your support.

Sadly our most recent Veterans are simply not being taken care of. We have all seen the Facebook stories of Refugees and Migrants who have never served Canada for one day. In fact some are even our enemies. Well the truth is out in this link from the CBC:

Former naval lieutenant Stephen Wight is one of thousands of ex-military members who has been left in debt while waiting for pension cheques. (Provided by Stephen Wight)

This next link will show you where Your Canadian Military are serving Globally in February. They certainly deserve far better treatment upon retirement, than non contributing people in Canada draining our monetary resources.

Have a great week end and please wear  Red on Friday to show support for your Troops and the military families of Canada.

Canada by Al Jazeera reporter…..Similarities UK Jihadi Suicide Bomber and Omar Khadr

Posted by on Feb 22, 2017 in The Invisible Army | 0 comments

Hmmmmm this piece from Al Jazeera, I find it disturbing to say the least: This opinion ed by;

Andrew Mitrovica is an award-winning investigative reporter and journalism instructor.

This certainly is food For Thought.

Meanwhile although the trump ban was overturned by sane courts in the USA a Welsh teacher on a school trip. WHo had a vis valid till 2019, as well as no criminal record whatsoever . Who has never visited any of the 7 countries outlawed by trump the trashman. This teacher was denied access with the students to the USA at Reklavik Airport. WHERE US  Officials (Border guards?) removed him. This is yet another reason for trudeau not to give  authority to question and detain Canadians on Canada’s sovereign soil.

Welsh Teacher with NO CRIMINAL Record removed from aircraft?

Further in this piece Pay Attention prime minister; This suicide bomber was released from Guantanamo, received a MILLION Pounds compensation, then returned to fight for isis/daesh. Does this story have traits of Canada, hhhmmmm ? ? ?

Prisoner Released from Guantanamo, repatriated to CANADA, Maybe not the MILLIONs but a convicted self confessed murderer Omar Khadr.  I pray that this terrorist does not carry out any actions against Canadians.

he terrorist, named as Jamal Udeen al-Harith but born Ronald Fiddler (right), was photographed moments before targeting a military facility near Mosul in Iraq. It is understood that Fiddler was sent to Guantanamo Bay in 2002 after he was caught by American forces in Afghanistan. But after intense campaigning by Tony Blair’s government, British citizen al-Harith – who had pleaded his innocence – was let out two years later (inset). Al-Harith’s British wife Shukee Begum, along with their five children (left), joined him in Syria in 2015 before fleeing from the ISIS-controlled territory.

Similarities:      Fiddler and Khadr this Timeline from the Toronto Star is quite interesting. Did Fiddler and Khadr meet in Afghanistan or Guantanamo?

Khadr in Canada, is he a Taliban Mole???

A younger Khadr holding severed hands and feet , with a grin on his cowardly face.

Please have a thought or a Prayer for our Troops in Dangerous Parts of our world. Defending Canada’s Freedom

Is this the LAST STRAW with the Royal Canadian Legion??

Posted by on Feb 21, 2017 in Uncategorized | 0 comments

I would dearly love to know if any of the committee members of this branch in London Ontario have any Service at all. Or are they part of the new breed of NON VETERAN’S in charge of yet another branch of the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION. ( formerly Legion Branches  cared for Veteran’s and their issues.) Please follow my friend and Fellow Veteran’s Blog re the Canadian Legion and their antics?

Bob Hanson a Senior Veteran from Canada’s SENIOR SERVICE. A man who lied about his age to join in the fight during WW2.

He was barred for simply using his CONSTITUTIONAL right, Whatever happened to the word COMPETITION ( if that is what the Legion Feared).

For 70 of the sailor’s 90 years, he’s been heading off to local Royal Canadian Legion branches to meet up with his buddies, swap war stories, listen to music and dance.

But last November, Hanson was banned for 180 days — a long time when you’re 90 — from the Legion’s Victory branch 317 in London for breaking its rules.

His infraction? Handing out business card-sized flyers of a country music band schedule he’d set up at another London club.

No amount of apology from this branch can ease the way Bob Hanson felt at being dismissed like an associate non voting member.  In truth the Legion was formed a scant 20 years or less when he volunteered to serve his King and Country.

SHAME ON the Victory Branch of LONDON Ontario.

I will always remember when S/Sgt Buck Buchanan my boss at the RCASC School in 1967. Introduced me at the Royal Canadian Legion in New Lowell Ontario, a small branch but very active. I was so proud to be allowed to join up as a serving member of the Canadian Army. Sadly I will never renew my RCL Membership, the pride is gone, the infidels as the Islamic Scholars would say Have taken Over. MY definition of Infidel is a NON VETERAN. This may not be PC but it is the truth. I am very happy to be a member of the Royal Scottish Legion here in Banchory Scotland.  Where old Legion Values are maintained.

Tom Eagles past Dominion Command President Tin medals? are they also made in N Korea?

Meanwhile our troops are still serving in Iraq.

Canadian troops in Iraq mount pressure on ISIS around Syrian border

Canadian special forces shift attention to other ISIS positions as fighting intensifies around Mosul

This article from our own CBC:

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of our Military and their families no matter where they are serving.

How dare our Government give POWERS to a foreign Government on Canadian Soil

Posted by on Feb 12, 2017 in The Invisible Army | 0 comments

What a Headline for Canadians ? ?

Will this be our New Flag under trump/Trudeau:

Pre-clearance bill would give U.S. border agents in Canada new powers.

I cannot believe that any Canadian Prime Minister would prepare a Bill allowing Foreign Officers the powers to

The professionalism of US Borders leaves much to the Imagination. I know from a personal experience at Pearson Airport Jan 1994. I was travelling to Palm Springs. Pre clearing US Customs as you did in thos days prior to 9/11 was supposed to be simple. I proceeded to the US area for my passport check. I was then asked to step aside and to accompany a US Border Officer to a separate room. I only has a carry on bag with me.

He checked and rechecked the contents of my bag. He asked me a few times why I was travelling to Palm Springs. I said because it is warm. No laugh, he then told me to give him my Drivers License? I queried why? he said just give it to me as it is suspended. I then said I would not give him my license but to please call the RCMP Airport detachment as I would surrender my license to them? The RCMP constable appeared and I told him what was going on. I told him I had landed in Montreal a week before from Saudi, rented a car and drove to Ottawa where my daughter was holding a 50th Birthday party for me. The Rental had no knowledge of a suspension. The RCMP Constable looked up the suspension on the US  officers computer. When he  told me the date. I showed him my passport, entry and exit Visa I was in Saudi at that time. Never the less a long rambling story. My main query to him was how did the US Have my suspension on their computers when Canada did not, he said he had no idea. I gave him my license and I was allowed to board the Air Canada Flight to LA.

That was many years ago and cyber operations have advanced greatly. To enter Trumpland can be awkward for Canadians of Dual Nationality, at the best of times BUT with these additional powers, some of the Red Neck Border Guards I am sure will act with Impunity.

See the full story  here at the CBC Link:

Recently the Border Guards at JFK detained a Sgt of the British Army, with questions as to WHY was he in Iraq. He was a soldier who earned the distinction under fire of being honoured by Her Majesty our Queen, with the Victoria Cross. Was it because he was he was born in Grenada?  See my previous Blog.

Mr Trudeau are you going to roll over at the feet of trump? or Are you going to STAND UP like a MAN on behalf of Canada and all Canadians? Cease and desist with this ridiculous Bill in our Parliament.
