Midweek Thoughts….an open Note to PM Trudeau and cabinet…

Posted by on May 30, 2018 in The Invisible Army | 0 comments

Mr Prime Minister ( and I use that term loosely )

The following news article from Belgium  should underscore, the ridiculous REHABIBILITATION of home grown Jihadis.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/05/29/gunman-kills-two-police-officers-belgium-taking-woman-hostage/

This cruel, Jihadi had been authorised Day Leave from Prison, in order to allow himself to be reintegrated to society. This despite the fact that those in the Prison Service considered this man to be a danger and Violent.

Sadly this assessment was ignored, and two female police officers lost their lives, leaving families devastated and in one case Children ORPHANED.

Be aware Mt Trudeau if any one that your government, graduates from your so called REHABILITATION Class and carries out an attack against anyone. You are GUILTY ,by Complicity. The current Liberal Government ,                        C O N T I N U E to ignore the needs of Wounded Canadian  Soldiers, whilst paying of ENEMY COMBATANTS>

The following  story is a good news, story with regard to Canada’s Reservists, and their day jobs: The objective of CFLC’s ExecuTrek program is to give civilian employers, supervisors and human resources professionals a first-hand look of the quality of military training and the benefits that employers can gain from employing Reservists.

http://www.army-armee.forces.gc.ca/en/news-publications/national-news-details-no-menu.page?doc=employers-take-part-in-army-exercise-alongside-their-reservist-employees/jhf5jk4y

I am sure that a lot of employers do not understand , men and women who serve in Canada’s Reserve Forces. This is certainly a step forward in mutual understanding.

Reservists have made substantial contributions to Canada’s international and domestic operations. Since the year 2000, more than 4,000 Reservists from the Army, the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Canadian Air Force have been deployed in international expeditionary operations in:
Africa;
South-west Asia;
the Middle East;
the Caribbean, and
many other parts of the world.
Reservists have participated in domestic operations in many ways in recent years. They have:
assisted with flood relief efforts in Quebec and Manitoba;
fought forest fires in Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia;
assisted with hurricane relief efforts in Newfoundland and Labrador;
participated in recovery efforts following ice storms in eastern Canada; and
supported the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
In addition, Reservists often help at or participate in cultural events, parades, festivals, and other public events in their own and neighbouring communities across Canada, including Remembrance Day ceremonies.

Long gone are the days of thinking of Reserves as Saturday Night Soldiers or weekend warriors.

On that note prior to  closing,  this mid week session. Please enjoy the guest article in The Sandbag Times….CANADA CALLING by Pat Buzzel  RCASC (A)  retired.    http://www.sandbagtimes.co.uk/

Enjoy your week and please give a thought to your Military Families , Veterans and serving Military Members. Standing Guard for Canada.

Monday ( Victoria Day weekend in UK)

Truer Words never spoken   Than the ones used in this Photo of DogTags.

Canada and many of her allies have left, many men and women who have paid the ultimate price.

The Korean peace parlay between the Orange Man and Kim il-jung may soon hold the talks that were  cancelled abruptly with the US.

Fingers crossed that they are held and indeed Successful. The leaders of both North and South Korea have met recently.

It certainly has been a lovely HOT weekend here in Scotland, while poor old residents of parts of Newfoundland experienced white outs and 32 cm of fresh snow.

I was distressed to learn that Gun Control in Canada is not being treated as it should in CANADA. I have always been Proud of Canada and their Gun Control. Especially in light of our neighbours to the south, and there horrendous school shootings.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/opinion/gun-violence-1.4641769

With that in mind, the Cowichan Valley Gun Club has been requested to move their Gun Range from a Provincial park.

That’s it for today. Please give a thought and a Prayer to our Canadians \serving in isolated areas of this world.

Red FRIDAY….TRUMP is at it again (like a spoiled Child).. RCL Info

This says it all ! ! !

Well once again PEACE is threatened in Korea? TRUMP in his usual CHILDISH Manner has spoken out that Kim may wind up treated like Gadhafi. Threats like this will certainly lead to Tit for TAT rhetoric between the 2 leaders. No deal like the so called Libya deal of a few years ago?

http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/trump-tells-north-korea-denuclearize-and-get-protections-1.4667512

Trump’s warning to Kim Jong-un: make a deal or suffer same fate as Gaddafi

I seriously wonder why this next story has been released to the PUBLIC. Does CANADA no longer believe in not telling the enemy what they are doing?? It used to be called

                     S E C U R I T Y

My friend and Fellow Veteran FRED RODGERS is still trying to open the ears of the RCL Dominion and Provincial Commands. I Agree %100 with his views. The Royal Canadian Legion has forgotten their ROOTS which are within the UK founders many years ago. Please open the following ink and read and perhaps Comment on his articles.

That’s it for this week folks. Always wear red on Friday’s in support of our Troops, their Families and our Veterans.

MId Week and Good News for KOREA…..Bad News for Korea

Posted by on May 16, 2018 in The Invisible Army | 0 comments

As the saying goes  first the good news. A Canadian General has been appointed Deputy Commander of the UN Group in Korea.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canadian-general-korea-1.4662008

The bad news is Kim is upsetting the applecart? Talks between North and South have been suspended.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/north-korea-suspend-talks-1.4664162

Last but by no means least today… a story that many Veterans who joined the police services or prison services. What a further waste of Tax Dollars.

Hey what better give cons more weapons? Needles just what is needed to attack Prison Officers  clean or Dirty. Once again prisoners (non Taxpaying) are given items while Veterans suffer.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/needle-exchanges-coming-to-2-canadian-prisons-1.4662778

That’s it today folks as I have an appointment in town.

Always give a thought to our troops and their families.
